His Majesty's Factory, Gretna: A Forum for those intersted in the Great War.
His Majesty's Factory, Gretna was built during the early part of the First World War to manufacture Cordite. The Cordite was installed inside artillary shells and bullets, and used as the propellant that fired the projectile from the armed forces weapons.
